What’s covered in these terms
These terms of service provide basic information about how European Hockey Academy associations work, what it is that you can expect of us and what we expect from you.
Service is provided by European Hockey Academy, Karpatské námestie 10A, 831 06 Bratislava-Rača, SLOVAKIA and its member associations in Denmark, Sweden and U.S.A. Statutes of the European Hockey Academy are the main set of rules and regulations that apply to all relationships between European Hockey Academy associations and users and / or members.
Only registered users, members of European Hockey Academy and / or its member associations as well as non-members can use our services. Members of European Hockey Academy, European Hockey Academy’s federations and / or its member associations may further be referred to as “members”.

Age requirements
If you are under the age of 18 y.o. you must have your parent or legal guardian’s permission to create the European Hockey Academy user account and use the services.
If you are a parent or legal guardian and you allow your child to create and access the European Hockey Academy user account then these terms apply to you and you’re responsible for your child’s activity on the services.
Your relationship with European Hockey Academy
User, non-member
You can use services and participate in programs that are provided and available for non-members of European Hockey Academy associations. These programs and services are clearly indicated.
By using some further specified services is your relationship with the European Hockey Academy regulated by additional agreements and rules.
Every user can apply for membership in the European Hockey Academy and / or its federations. Types of membership are regulated by Statutes of the European Hockey Academy and Statutes of member organisation in your country of residence.
User, member
Your relationship with European Hockey Academy as its member is regulated by Statutes of the European Hockey Academy and Statutes of member organisation in your country of residence. Each membership is valid for a common given period of time (from date to date) and given federation of European Hockey Academy and membership fee (if applicable) is always paid in full regardless of the date the membership is assigned.
By using some further specified services is your relationship with the European Hockey Academy regulated by additional agreements and rules.
Registration requirements
There are following information as minimum requirements to register as a user by the European Hockey Academy.
For every user:
- First name / names
- Last name
- Date of birth
- Sex*
- Country of residence
For legal users, over 18 y.o. age are also following information required:
- email address
For minor users, under 18 y.o. age are also following information required:
- First name / names of one or two legal guardians
- Last name of one or two legal guardians
- Country of residence of one or two legal guardians
- email of one or two legal guardians
* the ‘Sex’ refers to biological characteristics as assigned by birth, not person’s internal sense of self and how they identify
Depending on the relationship that the user and / or member has with European Hockey Academy as well as on the type of the membership additional requirements may apply. These requirements are specified by the user’s and / or member’s application for respective membership.
The verification procedures may apply to data provided by the user and / or member depending on the relationship that the user and / or member has with European Hockey Academy or the type of membership that the user and / or member acquires.
Physicals and BMI analysis – Use of services
The Physicals and BMI analysis services are available to members of specific federations of the European Hockey Academy only. Consult the services page to determine the membership requirements.
The Physicals and BMI analysis services are limited by members’age.
There are following minimum requirements for information about the user / member in addition to registration requirements:
- Height in cm
- Weight in kg
Data from external providers are used to compare and perform the analysis. The European Hockey Academy is not responsible for the accuracy of the external data. All interpretations of physical parameters are exclusively informative and all possible conclusions must be consulted with a professional physician or doctor.
External data sources used by services are:

Shop
Availability
The Association’s Shop can only be accessed by regular members of the European Hockey Academy or members of the European Hockey Academy’s federation. It is only regular members of the European Hockey Academy and / or European Hockey Academy’s federation members with valid membership that can order and purchase items (both physical and digital) and services via Shop.
Availability of certain products and services may be geographically limited and these products are available only for members residing in certain countries or otherwise specified geographical areas. Different shipping fees may be charged depending on members residence.
The variations and quantity of the products available for purchase may be limited by assumption of the user’s need within the period of valid membership, member’s physicals and metrics etc.
Distance selling agreement
By using the Shop service on this homepage, your relationship with the European Hockey Academy and Service providers is additionally regulated as Distance selling agreement and hereby you agree that:
- Supplier / seller of products and / or services is one of the Service providers specified by these T&C above with their physical address.
- The product that you purchased as well as its most important characteristics was described to the degree that you accept as satisfactory to make a qualified decision about purchase.
- The total price for your order was clearly specified, inclusive of any administration, delivery or other fees, currency and eventual payment processing partner.
- The payment has to be done in full before the provider is obliged to deliver the products and / or services ordered.
- The delivery method and terms have been clearly specified and accepted by you.
- You cannot cancel the order once the order is paid and you are not eligible for any refunds. The order can only be cancelled by the Service provider in case of circumstances preventing partial or full delivery of the order. In such a case you will be refunded partially or in full.
- Service providers are not responsible for any guarantees or reparations of purchased products.
Any returns are only possible in case that the conditions of Distance selling agreement above have not been fulfilled and these have to be handled individually by contacting us via our Support page here.
Administration fees
By using and purchasing via the association’s Shop you accept the administration fees that may be charged. Eventual fees are always specified for each case and transaction in advance and by completing the transaction you accept such fees.
Events
Events are organised by the European Hockey Academy and Service providers as a part of offered programs or as stand-alone events.
Availability
Events are available for users, members of the European Hockey Academy and members of the European Hockey Academy’s federations. Events are listed on this homepage and availability for members of specific federations, regular members or non-members is clearly indicated by each event.
The number of participants for each event may be limited. If the event is available for both non-member users and members, the members are always preferred. Users and / or Members have to sign up for each available event via this homepage. Participation is binding when confirmed on this homepage and usually also by email confirmation.
Participation fee
Participation fees may be charged for organised events. The fee is always clearly indicated for each event. The fee may be different depending on the type of membership and / or for members and non-members.
Your participation in the event is only confirmed when the participation fee is paid in full (if not agreed otherwise).
Cancellation
You can cancel your participation in the event for any reason. If you choose to cancel the confirmed participation in the event, the cancellation fee may be charged. Such a fee and conditions are clearly indicated for each event. There are no refunds made by your cancellation. In case of cancellation the vouchers are issued and the type, validity and value of such a voucher is clearly indicated for each event.
If the event is cancelled by the service provider for any reason, the refunds are made in full in form of vouchers or cash refunds.
Participants’ cancellations can lead to event cancellation by the Service provider (i.e. the count of participants is by participant’s cancellation being lower than minimum required participants count). In such a case the cancellation by you as a participant or Service provider is determined by the event’s status at the time of cancellation.
